The first MedTech Forum in 2008 was held under the patronage of Günter Verheugen, EU Commissioner for Enterprise and Industry. The conference’s 27 different sessions were spread out over four days and attracted almost 400 delegates representing more than 130 organisations including medical technology companies & national associations, European Institutions, Health Ministries, international associations, governmental bodies, academics and consultancies. From the medical technology industry over 70 European presidents, CEOs and country managing directors attended the meetings.
